Dr. Rudolph V. Peters-Senior Pastor and one of our District Elders
Pastor Peters holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Andrews University, a master’s degree in Urban Management from Connecticut State University, and Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Peters is a native of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, one of the beautiful Caribbean Islands. During his 28 years of ministry, he has served as a pastor on the islands of St. Vincent, Dominica and St. Lucia. In the United States, he served in New York, Connecticut, and now California.
Peters is passionate about lost people and endeavors every day to reach them with the love of Christ. He loves evangelism, giving many the opportunity to hear the good news of a crucified and risen Savior who can save them. Pastor Peters is a man of vision, conducting church plants and building church facilities to accommodate the future growth of the church. His greatest ministry accomplishment was the planting of the Bridgeport Tabernacle Church in Bridgeport Connecticut. With the help of a gifted and committed group of workers, they gave birth to what is today a dynamic, growing church.
Pastor Peters is married to Valentine Peters, who he sees as his greatest gift and blessing, and attributes his success in ministry to her love and faithfulness. Pastor Peters and Valentine are continuing in their marriage of 26 years and are grateful for their two children Theon a Biochemistry graduate of University of California Davis, and Ethan Peters an elementary school student.
